PROJECTS
Points of Access
Theodora Salazar, a Translyvania University student and Kresge Art.Culture.Food.Health mini-grant recipient, engaged the services of S and A Strategies to assist with planning and implementation of a community engagement session to gain input on her community mapping project. The S and A Strategies team was pleased to work with Theodora on such an important project and we are delighted to see the project progressing.
On The Table
On The Table is a civic exercise that began in Chicago, a project of the Chicago Community Trust. Blue Grass Community Foundation, thanks to funding from the Kresge Foundation and the Knight Foundation, brought the one-day conversation engagement to Lexington, Kentucky in partnership with Imagine Lexington, the city's Comprehensive Planning process. S and A Strategies worked closely with the Foundation by assisting with the creation the framework for the initiative and leading the charge for community engagement. We were able to facilitate a relationship with several key partners, neighborhoods of focus and minority communities. The S and A Strategies team is very proud of the work we were able to provide as part of this team. And we are thankful to have been a part of its' inaugural year.
